Based on William Shakespeare’s Henry IV Part 1, Henry IV Part 2, & Henry V, Getty’s opera in two acts meets the silver screen in a special invitation-only event at the historic Cameo. The film features performances by baritone Lester Lynch as Falstaff, tenor Nathan Granner as Hal and Shallow, and soprano Melody Moore as Hostess. Additional cast members include Leslie Katter, Eugene Brancoveanu, Mark Hernandez, Andrew Pardini, Adam Lau, Kevin Short, Matt Boehler, Michael Jankosky, and Bruce Rameker.

Performers
With the 2021 premiere of his operatic film Goodbye, Mr. Chips, composer Gordon Getty adds a fourth opera to his list of compositions, which also includes works for orchestra, chorus, vocal and instrumental soloists, and chamber ensembles. His staged works have been mounted by Leipzig Opera, Welsh National Opera, San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Opera, and Bolshoi Ballet, while his orchestral repertoire has been recorded and performed by the likes of the San Francisco Symphony under Michael Tilson Thomas, Mikhail Pletnev leading the Russian National Orchestra, and Sir Neville Marriner with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. Gordon Getty is a Pentatone artist and his music is published by Rork Music.
Martin Guigui is an award-winning filmmaker, producer, and music director who has worked on over 175 productions – writing, producing, and directing feature films, television, music videos; composing music for film and television; producing over 50 music albums; and directing high profile broadcast concerts.
Conductor Nicole Paiement is widely acclaimed for her interpretations of contemporary operas. As Founder and Artistic Director of Opera Parallèle (OP) in San Francisco, Ms. Paiement has conducted many new productions, commissions, and world premieres.
Acclaimed by opera and concertgoers worldwide, Lester Lynch is regarded not only as a true Verdi baritone, but also as one of today’s foremost interpreters of American spirituals and contemporary opera.
Nathan Granner is a world-renowned leading tenor, headliner, and solo and collaborative artist, specializing in contemporary opera and late bel canto repertoire. In addition to singing roles like Puccini's Rodolfo, Mozart's Ferrando and Verdi's Jacopo Foscari, Granner’s intense performance style hits all of his characters, He has originated numerous roles in world premieres, including Korey Wise in Anthony Davis' 2020 Pulitzer Prize-winning opera The Central Park Five.
Soprano Melody Moore is enjoying a thriving career on the world’s leading stages. Moore recently returned to Los Angeles Opera to repeat her tremendous success in the role of Amneris in Verdi’s Aida for six performances in May/June, appearing opposite Latonia Moore in the title role and tenor Russell Thomas as Radames, and made her much-anticipated return to San Francisco Opera as Mère Marie in the Olivier Py production of Dialogues des Carmélites. A Master of Music graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Melody Moore is a former Adler Fellow of San Francisco Opera and a participant of the Merola program.
