Set along Napa Valley’s iconic Silverado Trail, Odette Estate Winery provides the setting for an intimate evening of music, wine, and conversation featuring acclaimed composer Jake Heggie and soprano Mary Evelyn Hangley with pianist Kevin Korth. Guests will enjoy a salon-style musical program highlighted by an exclusive preview of The Judgment of Paris, Heggie’s highly anticipated new opera premiering during Festival Napa Valley’s 20th Anniversary Summer Season, alongside selections from his celebrated songs, works by composer Gordon Getty, and classics inspired by the spirit of Parisian cabaret.
Exceptional wines and seasonal hors d’oeuvres complete the evening at one of Napa Valley’s premier winery estates.

Performers
As an in-demand recitalist and coach, pianist Kevin Korth has collaborated with such legendary artists as Frederica von Stade, Isabel Leonard, Jake Heggie, Nadine Sierra, Anthony Roth Costanzo, Sasha Cooke, John Holiday, Lise Lindstrom, Joel Krosnick, and Deborah Voigt. Praised by Gramophone for playing that is “superb,” and “full of color and character,” his debut album, Out of the Shadows, a recording of American art song with soprano Lisa Delan and cellist Matt Haimovitz on the Pentatone Classics label was warmly received.
A 2023 Sullivan Foundation Career Grant recipient, soprano Mary Evelyn Hangley is a graduate of San Francisco Opera’s prestigious Adler Fellowship, where she covered numerous leading roles. She made her San Francisco Opera debut as the Mother in Hansel and Gretel to substantial praise.
