Pianist Rieko Tsuchida and clarinetist Anthony McGill share an engaging morning of music created especially for young Festival audiences. Festival favorite Tsuchida, an acclaimed soloist and chamber musician joins McGill, principal clarinet of the New York Philharmonic and an internationally celebrated performer, for an interactive program that introduces children to the rich sounds of piano and clarinet.


Adults must be accompanied by a child to attend this concert.

Rieko Tsuchida

Since making her Carnegie Hall debut in 2011, pianist Rieko Tsuchida has performed internationally as a soloist and chamber musician. Tsuchida currently resides in New York and Paris, where her ensemble IMAGO is Ensemble-in-Residence at the Fondation des États-Unis, and she serves as Co-Artistic Director of Classical Music Collection Japan.

Anthony McGill

Clarinetist Anthony McGill, Principal Clarinet of the New York Philharmonic, is one of classical music’s most celebrated performers and advocates. A frequent soloist with top orchestras and director of Juilliard’s Music Advancement Program, he was named Musical America’s 2024 Instrumentalist of the Year and received the 2020 Avery Fisher Prize.
