Join Festival Napa Valley for an unforgettable evening honoring Andrea Bocelli, one of the world's most celebrated tenors and an inspiring humanitarian. In recognition of his extraordinary artistic achievements and philanthropic leadership, Bocelli will receive Festival Napa Valley's highest honor, the Angels of the Arts Award.
Set amid the grandeur of Carolands Chateau, the evening begins with a reception followed by Voice and the Violin, an intimate performance featuring Joshua Bell, Larisa Martínez, Peter Dugan, and exceptional young artists. Guests will then enjoy an elegant dinner paired with Napa Valley's finest wines.
Proceeds benefit the Andrea Bocelli Foundation's Voices Of program, the Addiction Education Society, and Festival Napa Valley's Arts for All initiatives.
The evening honors the memory and charitable legacy of Dane Johnson and is generously supported by the Johnson family.
The performance is generously underwritten by the Uytengsu family.

Recognized the world over as an icon of the greatest Italian vocal tradition, Andrea Bocelli has sold over 90 million records. He became widely famous after winning the Sanremo Music Festival in 1994, starting his dazzling classical opera career, which has been recognized through countless honors and accolades.
With a career spanning four and a half decades, Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell CBE is one of the most celebrated artists of our time. He has performed with virtually every major orchestra in the world, and regularly appears as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, conductor, and as the Music Director of London’s Academy of St Martin in the Fields.
Puerto Rican opera singer Larisa Martínez is praised and sought after for her “smoky soprano” (Opera News), gracing top stages and collaborating with household names of today. Larisa has made orchestra appearances with Philadelphia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, New Jersey Symphony, and Indianapolis Symphony. In 2019, she made both her Kennedy Center recital debut and Carnegie Hall debut.
Pianist Peter Dugan’s debut performances with Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony were described by the Los Angeles Times as “stunning” and by the SF Chronicle as “fearlessly athletic.” He is heard nationwide as the host of NPR’s beloved program From the Top. He has appeared as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician across North America and abroad.
