Nathaniel Remez is a soloist with the San Francisco Ballet. He joined the company in 2016 after training at the San Francisco Ballet School and with Maryland Youth Ballet. Nathaniel has danced soloist and principal roles in a number of Helgi Tomasson’s classical ballets, such as Rothbart in Swan Lake, Hilarion in Giselle, Snow King in The Nutcracker, and Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet. He also performed The Poet in John Neumeier’s The Little Mermaid and Creature in Liam Scarlett’s Frankenstein. He has originated roles in new ballets from Yuri Possokhov, Cathy Marston, and Dani Rowe, among others, and he has danced existing works by choreographers such as Justin Peck, William Forsythe, Alexi Ratmansky, Kenneth MacMillan, Frederick Ashton, George Balanchine, and Jerome Robbins.

Melanie Hamrick, Joanna DeFelice, and Christine Shevchenko bring their exhilarating production, A Night at the Ballet, to Napa for the annual Dance Gala. The program features highlights from some of the world's most beloved classical ballets, including Don Quixote, Diana & Acteon, and Le Corsaire. The evening also includes a special appearance by guest artist Nicholas Palmquist.
