Sterling Vineyards
1111 Dunaweal Ln | Calistoga
Peter Newton envisioned “a place of beauty and a joy to visit” when he founded Sterling Vineyards in 1964. And that’s exactly what guests will experience when they dine at this iconic winery. Inspired by the architecture of the Greek Isles and set high on a hilltop in Calistoga — accessed by Napa Valley’s only aerial tram — Sterling Vineyards is simply breathtaking.
Crafted in the European tradition, Sterling’s distinguished red and white varietals embody the unique terroirs of its six valley and mountainside vineyards. Its award-winning collections are as imbued with the winery’s tradition of excellence as with the expertise of its talented winemaker, Lauren Kopit. Tonight Festival patrons will enjoy an artfully curated selection of exquisite wines paired with delicious cuisine, served under the stars in this place of spectacular beauty.
Venue
Sterling Vineyards was founded in 1964 by Peter Newton and Michael Stone. Newton and Stone were early pioneers of crafting Bordeaux-inspired red wines in California, transforming Napa Valley into the premier winemaking appellation we know today. Sterling Vineyards quickly put the region on the map for creating top quality wines.
