Festival Napa Valley continued its support of public school arts education awarding $225,000 in grants at its annual Arts for All Grant Ceremony. 2016 grant recipients include Arts Council Napa Valley Education Alliance, Napa Valley Education Foundation, Napa County Office of Education, Napa Valley Youth Symphony and Lincoln Theater’s Artist in Residence Program.

Arts Council Napa Valley (ACNV), along with partners Festival Napa Valley and the Napa Valley Unified School District (NVUSD), is proud to announce the Napa Valley Unified Board of Education’s unanimous approval of the Arts Education Master Plan (AEMP), a five-year visual and performing arts initiative to provide opportunity, access and equity to all students.

Festival Napa Valley is pleased to announce that Emmy Award-winning and Grammy-nominated entertainer Wayne Brady will star as host and emcee of Imaginarium: The Annual Festival Gala. Fresh from his leading role in the Broadway sensation Kinky Boots, and famed for TV’s improvisational series Whose Line Is It Anyway?, the actor, singer and comedian will conduct the Sunday, July 17 festivities from the dramatic tented stage on the fairway lawn at Meadowood Napa Valley.

Festival Napa Valley (formerly Festival del Sole), one of America’s premiere summer destination events, presents its Eleventh Season, July 15-24, 2016. The ten-day fete features exclusive engagements by preeminent classical, opera, jazz and dance artists paired with intimate food and wine affairs hosted by the region’s top vintners. Through its free programming and arts education initiatives, the festival seeks to bring the transformative power of the arts to all.
