Education
Open to participants of all levels – from absolute novice to marching band alum – Festival Napa Valley’s Community Drumline is perfect for anyone who loves a parade and is interested in connecting with others through percussion.
Led by Jon Edie, Napa-based drummer and marching band alum, Drumline members will learn percussion basics while celebrating the Festival’s “arts for all” mission by participating in seasonal parades.
Participation is free, with a one-time $15 materials fee payable at the first class to cover a Drumline t-shirt. Participants may bring their own drum or use the instruments provided.
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Each session is capped at 15 people.
Advanced registration is requested.
After registering, participants will receive an email confirmation. Mid-session drop-ins welcome with advance notice and required registration. For more information, email Festival Napa Valley's Education Department.
