Performers
Coloratura soprano Angela Ragland is a frequent performer with companies including Marin Oratorio, Berkeley Chamber Opera, and the Handel Opera Project. Favorite roles include Semele in Semele, Amy in Little Women, and Cunegonde in Candide. Angela holds degrees from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Roosevelt University.
Sidney Ragland, an accomplished Californian tenor praised for his “exquisite voice” and “rich vibrato,” has recently performed with Soli Deo Gloria, Pocket Opera, Ars Minerva, and the Handel Opera Project. In 2022, he made his European debut in Die Fledermaus at Lyric Opera Studio Weimar. Mr. Ragland is an alumnus of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Napa County Library’s mission is to enrich people’s lives with books and information. In order to better serve the growing service area, and with a combination of funds from the library, the Friends of the Library, and federal and local grants, the current library on Coombs Street was built in 1974 and expanded in the 1990s.
